To address and solve issues in the community, RISE Mzansi hosted an event at Kapanong Hall, Extension 4, Soshanguve. As a modern political organisation, RISE Mzansi mobilises, organises, and empowers communities. It aims to create a country where people can pursue happiness and well-being freely.
As part of the event, meaningful choices were provided to facilitate engagement with the community and listening to grievances.
According to Tebogo Moalusi, The Nation’s spokesperson, the organisation exists to unite every generation. To overcome these challenges, a focused, committed, and passionate approach is required. This vision requires everyone’s help.
We intend to address and resolve Gauteng community problems, said Moalusi
Residents of Gauteng communities have informed Moloi that drugs are a major concern. Young men in Tshwane, especially in Soshanguve, have been affected more than ever before.
“Another major concern is the number of unemployed graduates and young people who apply for jobs without experience. People with disabilities can’t participate in the community, study further, or find a job.
“ There is a need for recreational facilities for young people, sports facilities, and a safe environment for children to play,” said Moalusi.
As RISE Mzansi, they are currently listening to these challenges and building solutions.
Rather than looking to the government to save them, Moloi said, “Communities have organised themselves to address their challenges.”
“It is vitally significant that RISE Mzansi builds relationships with professional bodies, organised businesses, and communities who want to improve their lives.”
“In this journey toward civic society and the civic movement, the organization is a key partner. We plan to work with them to ensure they can perform their duties. Moalusi concluded.
