BuildRite Hardware store opens its doors in Mabopane, welcoming the community with warmth.
The recently launched BuildRite hardware store in Mabopane had its grand opening, warmly inviting the community to step inside. With its doors wide open, it aims to serve as a convenient destination for all their building requirements.
The community was thrilled to discover what the store had to offer. It showcases a wide array of hardware, tools, and home improvement items, along with knowledgeable staff ready to assist customers with their projects. Build Rite, originally based in Durban, has made the strategic decision to relocate to Gauteng to expand its presence, beginning with a focus on Tshwane for the time being.
The grand opening was a resounding success, drawing a crowd of enthusiastic visitors keen to see what the new store had to offer. Customers were particularly impressed by the extensive selection and competitive prices.
“I’m thrilled with this hardware store because their promotions are so appealing compared to others. We are really happy about the opening of this store; it’s playing a key role in uplifting our community,” shared community member John Jamakira.
One of the standout moments during the grand opening was the exemplary customer service provided to all attendees. Customers were encouraged to approach the store’s experts with any questions or concerns regarding home improvement or hardware.
The willingness of the staff to offer advice and recommendations was greatly appreciated by customers, who valued the personalized attention and expert knowledge provided.
Sharon Nthani, the Head of Marketing, elaborated on their decision to open the store in Mabopane, emphasizing its strategic location amidst neighboring areas like Winterveldt and Ga-Rankuwa.
“We noticed that there are already established hardware stores like Build it and CashBuild in this area.”
“This indicates that it’s a thriving business location,” she explained. “Additionally, if you’re short on funds, you can take advantage of our safe-to-buy option. This allows you to start saving with us until you have enough to build your home.” She added.
Nthani further said that their target market includes contractors, builders, and homeowners looking to improve their properties.
“During the store opening, we encountered some political challenges, but we were able to resolve them successfully,”
“We made sure to hire individuals residing in nearby areas such as Mabopane, Winterveldt, and Bokonout,”
“The community is thrilled about the job opportunities offered by this new hardware store, especially for the young people in Mabopane,’’
“Jobs have also been extended to those with hardware knowledge but limited experience. Even before its launch, Build Rite was actively engaging with the community,”
“We even attempted a wheelchair drive for the Mabopane community,” Nthani shared.
Operations manager, Faizel Cassim stated that they are planning to expand to other locations in the future.
“We have a plan in place to expand throughout Gauteng, We are actively searching for properties for sale in the areas of interest. Once we identify suitable properties, we assess them thoroughly,” said Cassim.
He also mentioned their collaboration with the community forum and local councillor Thabo Mathibedi, highlighting their joint efforts in supporting the community. As part of their contributions, they have donated three wheelchairs to the community.
