Members of the TMPD Tactical Unit, Gauteng Traffic Wardens STT Northern Corridor, Gauteng Traffic Police, and Tshenolo PI received information about a white Hyundai H100 that was reportedly hijacked in Hammanskraal.
The team proceeded to the Zama Zama informal settlement in Hercules.The vehicle was located, and Further information revealed that the vehicle had five occupants during the hijacking. Four victims—two males and two females—were traced and found near a farm, some still tied with ropes and wires on their legs and hands.
The victims reported being hijacked at gunpoint by three suspects in Hammanskraal and held overnight. The victims were taken to Hercules SAPS, and a case of kidnapping and robbery was opened.
