Botshilu Private Hospital recently celebrated its 10th anniversary with a commitment to delivering exceptional healthcare to the community. Over the past decade, the hospital has grown and evolved, steadily expanding its facilities, services, and expertise to better serve its patients.
Founded by Dr. Jacky Rampedi, the hospital has grown into a prominent, independently owned and managed private hospital group, renowned for its commitment to quality healthcare and community-focused service as a black-owned leader in the sector.
Addressing guests at the 10th anniversary, Dr. Jacky Rampedi said that the journey from a small facility to a hospital of distinction is a reflection of their collective dedication to improving the lives of those they serve. “This milestone would not have been possible without the unwavering support of our staff, our partners, and our community,” he emphasised. The growth experienced over the past decade is a testament to their commitment, passion, and resilience.
“As we gather to celebrate the 10th Anniversary of Botshilu Private Hospital, I am filled with immense pride and gratitude,” Dr. Rampedi stated. “What began as a vision to create a healthcare facility that not only serves but uplifts the community has flourished into a leading hospital, committed to providing compassionate, world-class care.”
“As we look toward the future, our focus remains steadfast: to advance healthcare services, to innovate, and to build on the strong foundation we have laid.” Dr. Rampedi noted that this milestone marks another step in Phelang Bonolo Healthcare Group’s (PBH) mission to deliver exceptional healthcare and integrated solutions to communities across South Africa.
Dr. Rampedi highlighted some of the challenges encountered during the COVID-19 pandemic and the lessons learned as an organisation. “Together, we have weathered challenges, celebrated triumphs, and continued to uphold our mission of delivering excellence in healthcare,” he added.
The healthcare group aims to establish a national footprint with various new developments planned for the near future. “PBH is delighted to announce the recent groundbreaking of its newest mental health wellness private hospital in Montana, Pretoria,” Dr. Rampedi explained. “The new hospital will not only provide mental health and wellness services but also engage in community mental health education and outreach programs.”
“By working closely with local healthcare professionals, healthcare organisations, and government bodies, PBH aims to create a mentally healthier, more informed community.”
Concluding his address, Dr. Rampedi expressed his gratitude: “I extend my heartfelt thanks to each of you our staff, doctors, allied health professionals, support services, patients, partners, stakeholders, and the community at large for being an integral part of this journey. Your trust and support have been the pillars of our success.”
Hospital General Manager Gerrit van den Berg added that he is deeply honoured to be part of this incredible team and looks forward to many more successes together at Botshilu.
