Newcomers to the Hollywood Bets Tshwane Men’s Regional League, Nkadimeng FC, have announced the appointment of Tebogo Mashigo as the club’s second assistant coach and team analyst. Mashigo’s appointment is no surprise, as the club aims to compete strongly on all fronts this season.
The club expressed confidence in Mashigo’s abilities in announcing his new role, citing his extensive coaching experience. After achieving success with teams like Sosh Movers FC, Winter Squad, and recently with Ba Straata FC, Coach Tebogo Mashigo is ready for the challenge ahead.
“I’m ecstatic to be part of the technical team of this prestigious club. When the opportunity came, I couldn’t turn it down, as it’s a great platform to support the team in their ambitious project in the Hollywood Tshwane Men’s Regional League,” he said.
Known for his passion and eye for young talent, Mashigo’s first task will be to elevate the performance of the club’s young players. Confident in the team’s balance, he sees great potential in combining youth with experience.
“We have a strong squad of young, exciting players and senior players with lots of experience. If we blend the two effectively, we’re optimistic that we’ll be a force to be reckoned with in our debut season.”
Mashigo also hinted that the club might make one or two more signings while the transfer window is still open. Nkadimeng FC have so far collected 4 out of 6 points this season and aim to build on their positive start. Mashigo remains hopeful about the team’s chances of contending for the league title.
“As you know, every team shares the goal of winning their stream and securing promotion to the ABC Motsepe League, and we’re no different. It’s a tough league, but anyone can be beaten if you’re well-prepared and take it one game at a time.”
Nkadimeng FC’s next match is an away fixture against Lighthouse FC at Eersterust Stadium, with kick-off set for Sunday at 11:00 AM.
